Ace Makerspace (Oakland, California)
Ace Makerspace (Formerly Ace Monster Toys, “AMT”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member-supported organization founded in 2010. We support traditional makers and craftspeople as well as hackers both digital and material. Our community brings together people of diverse skill levels by providing resources and culture to build networks, co-work, and engage in projects that benefit individuals and the community at large. The resources we develop include spaces and a wide variety of tools and supplies to support making and learning.
Ubuntu Center (Oakland, California)
The Ubuntu Center at The Hidden Genius Project offers a creative, safe, and free out-of-school learning environment where middle and high school students of all identities can work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology.
SSU Library Makerspace (Rohnert Park, California)
The SSU Library Makerspace is a place to dream, make, and innovate. SSU students, faculty, and staff are invited to explore digital fabrication, prototyping, and a wide range of technology to transform ideas into reality. People from all disciplines and with any level of skill can experiment with new technologies in workshops or just by coming in and playing. By providing the tools and materials, we hope to encourage creativity and inquiry and to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration.
